In short- MICE Moments are offers with a story: a package, a season or an idea for events.
- Title, start date and description are required. The description is the only long text in your profile.
- Hashtags of your moments are included in the planners' free text search.
- Planners only see moments that are active and within their dates.
- With "Add new type" you can offer catering or a location as well. Save it within 24 hours.
- Open the edit page, tab "MICE Moments", and click "Add new MICE Moment".
- Enter the title, the start date ("From") and a category. "Unlimited" means no end date.
- Write the description: say what makes the moment special.
- Add hashtags and a picture, then click "Save". The moment is stored at once and starts out active.
- Use "Deactivate" to hide a moment from planners and "Activate" to show it again.
- To add a type, open "Records" and click "Add new type". Types you already have are greyed out.
- Fill in the tabs of the new type and save, just like for your first type.
- Planners find your moments on your profile, where "Plan Event" starts their request with your moment, and in the moments search.
- A moment from the last 90 days also lifts your Profile Health.
- Until its first complete save, a new type is "Incomplete" and not in the search. After 24 hours it is deleted.
- There is no remove button for a type. To remove one, call or write to MICE Portal.
Why do planners not see my moment?
Planners only see moments that are active and within their dates. Check that the moment is active and that its dates include today.
Do hashtags help planners find me?
Yes. The planners' free text search includes the hashtags of your moments.
My new type disappeared. What happened?
A new type must be saved completely within 24 hours. Otherwise it is deleted. Add it again and save each tab.
How do I remove a type I no longer offer?
Only MICE Portal can remove a type. Call or write to MICE Portal.
