Learn how the edit page works: one card per type, tabs that save on their own, and changes that go live at once.

In short
  • Under "Records" each type you offer, such as hotel, location or catering, has its own card and its own data.
  • "Edit Record" opens the edit page, where you maintain everything planners see about you.
  • The tabs depend on your type: a hotel has six, a location five, most service providers three.
  • Every tab saves on its own. Tick both consent boxes first, or no tab can be saved.
  • MICE Portal does not review your changes. Planners see them in their search straight away.
How it works
  1. Open "Records" and click "Edit Record" on the card of your type.
  2. Before your first save, open "Terms of use" and "Privacy policy" and tick both boxes.
  3. Make your changes on the tab. The save button at the bottom becomes active as soon as you change something.
  4. Click "Save and continue". A browser message confirms with "successfully updated" (always in English). Click "OK".
  5. You stay on the same tab. Choose the next tab yourself.
  6. If you have unsaved changes, save or click the red "Reset unsaved changes" button before you switch tabs.
Good to know
  • Despite its name, "Save and continue" does not move on to the next tab.
  • With unsaved changes, the next tab stays closed.
Frequently asked questions

Why can I not save?

Both boxes, terms of use and privacy policy, must be ticked. Until both are accepted, no tab can be saved.

Why does the next tab not open?

You have unsaved changes. Save the tab first, or throw the changes away with "Reset unsaved changes".

Does MICE Portal check my changes before they go live?

No. Your changes are live right away, and planners see them in their search.

Why does my hotel have more tabs than my catering?

The tabs depend on your type. A hotel has six, a location five, most service providers three.
